Figure Drawings

As I study the human figure more, I’ve realized that I am most drawn to capturing gesture. Because of this I tend to enjoy the beginning stages of a piece more that I do when it is fully rendered. I enjoy seeing the gesture and contour lines just as much as I enjoy seeing the visible sketch. this collection of work is one of my favorites for that reason.
