Sculpture

Learning to create in a three dimensional space as a primarily 2D artist was an intimidating venture. I learned that ceramic and wood sculpture are two mediums I really enjoy and hope to explore more in the future. These classes I found were a lot more manageable than I feared simply because I was able to rely on fundamentals like composition and form to guide my decision making when the materials themselves felt too new and overwhelming. Learning curves are expected when learning a new medium, but this should never discourage you from trying.
